Snoring treatment

We have the best specialists

During sleep, inspiratory pressure tends to collapse the upper airway, which is prevented by the action of the pharyngeal muscles. In this case, any factor that tends to diminish or alter the action of the muscles favors the pharyngeal descent during inspiration, thus producing snoring. Laser Surgery Centers offer their patients a non-invasive, fast, effective and controlled solution, performed with Diode Laser technology, vaporizing the mucosa and eliminating the line of tissue it touches without damaging it and without sanitation, using topical anesthesia in cotton wool applied in the office, resulting in the reduction or total elimination of the area that produces nasal obstruction without subsequent tamponade.

What is Snoring?

Snoring is the hoarse or harsh sound that occurs when air flows past relaxed tissues in your throat, causing the tissues to vibrate as you breathe. Nearly everyone snores now and then, but for some people it can be a chronic problem. Sometimes it may also indicate a serious health condition. In addition, snoring can be a nuisance to your partner.

Lifestyle changes, such as losing weight, avoiding alcohol close to bedtime or sleeping on your side, can help stop snoring.

In addition, medical devices and surgery are available that may reduce disruptive snoring. However, these aren’t suitable or necessary for everyone who snores.
